ReSPA Tenders: Comparative analysis of
lessons learned from recent developments in implementation of PPP projects in
Wester Balkans Region

ReSPA is
conducting a regional study on “Comparative analysis of lessons learned
from recent developments in implementation of PPP projects in Western Balkans
region”. The general objective of the comparative study is to foster PPP
market development in WB and to encourage development of common PPP practice in
the WB region as well as regional PPP projects. The rationale of this study is
to explore to which extent the PPP market is developed in WB countries in terms
of regulatory and institutional framework, readiness to conduct procurement
procedure and capability for planning and programming. In that sense the main
aim of the comparative study is to increase the exposure of PPP public
stakeholders to the above mentioned practicalities of PPP projects in order to
identify and share findings on practicalities of PPP projects implementation,
lessons learned and recommendations.

The study will
explicitly take into account the European principles of public administration
related to PPP as developed by SIGMA.
